April showers bring May flowers. In the real estate market it’s about time we see some growth. According to the Department of Commerce new home sales have increased by 27%. This is an incredible jump from February’s sales of 324,000 to March’s 411,000. This is a sign of reassurance, economic health is on its way.

Law of Nature

April 20th, 2010

Everything is cyclical. The world makes a complete turn on its axis every 24 hours and moves around the sun every 365 days.  Every year we experience winter, summer spring and fall. Every leaf that falls to the ground decomposes into life sustaining nutrients giving a new tree life.  Nothing escapes this law of nature, not even our economic climate. It is common knowledge that we have hit a huge dip in the real estate market. However, it is only a dip, one in which we are patiently escaping. According to an article in the Real Estate Magazine, transactions have been increasing. This may not be the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow news but it is a sign the tides are changing. Although total sales volume has yet to diverge on its path of decline increased transactions is a good start. Increased transactions provides the means for “securing price stabilization and eventually price appreciation”. And this my friends, is the good news much needed after a very hard storm.
